When we first arrived at this legendary dance fever planet we were disappointed to find that it was just a TV series. We traveled many light years to dance with others & to hear Olivia Newton John live. She is quite famous on our planet, but we only have recordings that we retrieved using our advanced music technology.
On our home planet dance is the foundation for most communication & social gatherings. We do not eat without dancing. We do not sleep without dancing. With our DanceUFO we hope to share our culture & help to map out yours with our vision for the future which is a real Dance Teahouse. We aim to create a fun scene. No need to fear us. We come in peace. We look forward to dancing with you & hope this will aid to break through the language barrier.

About The Vision
Our true dancing nature is awakened as we break away from feeling alien and say hello to others
Has this ever happened to you? You went to a show and felt like dancing, but held back because it seemed inappropriate for your age. You humbly accepted the responsibility of being an adult, & told your inner child to grow up. The venue wasn't made with you in mind. The audience was obviously a younger group. The bad vibes of attempting to infiltrate their scene would be likely disastrous and embarrassing. So you made the grown up decision to leave yourself out. Or maybe you ignored the awkwardness and danced anyway. You are not alone.
When you as a recreational or professional dancer grows up you will still feel like dancing! The problem is often that there's no good place for you to do it. Most adults simply give up on the idea. My 10 yr. old boy used to say that to me every day! His favorite is James Brown... both the moves & the music. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
We can't wait for Ballet, Salsa, and Ballroom, but don't forget we need the Funk, Hip Hop, Melbourne Shuffle, Disco, Swing, EDM, Zumba, Hula Hooping and some others, too. Drink some tea & talk with friends. Dedicated to enhancing community participation & the experience of dance for adults of all ages and skill levels. (Don't worry - the kids have plenty of venues. It's OK to have one for us too!)
